Creating a More Brandable Shipping Experience
It was well past time we gave some attention to product suppliers too since we give a lot of attention to service-based companies. If you can do all of that while building a little brand loyalty at the same time, why not? Ultimately, getting your goods to your customers is all about the destination, so why not take advantage of that?
The following are the ways you can make sure your brand is noticed and attracts attention!
Boxes for shipping with custom graphics:
First, design your own packaging that really stand out. The problem with most shipping containers is that they’re just too generic. They come in a variety of boxes, but they all look the same!
If you have a brand that you want to convey (e.g. “have only the best”), then get a custom box printed up and add subtle branding to it! Your box can be tailor-made more attractive by using graphics or even turned into a toy or gift for the recipient.
Self-branded boxes:
In fact, why not do both? On one side of your package, place your logo, and on the other side, add a message like “New product” across from it. Moreover, this will help convey to your customer that your product is new (which might be more prominent in some industries than others), and it gives you the opportunity to get a little branding in there too.
Brand-specific packing materials:
If you have your own private brand or product, then consider finding a supplier who gives you a certain amount of packing material for free! Additionally, this can include tape, bubble wrap, or any other item that goes into the packaging.
One of our Rockville customers was able to score an awesome deal on foam padding. Because they want to package their subwoofers in custom logo boxes with custom graphics instead of the stock boxes. Customboxmakers offers them an option to create your own boxes, from which they were able to have their desire packaging. They gave them a better deal on the foam, and it helped us because we were able to get creative with their packaging!
Shipping logo-ed boxes:
You can also look into having your shipping box custom printed with your own logo. This is a great way to get your brand some extra exposure with printed logo boxes. While at the same time guaranteeing that your customer sees that you have a keen attention to detail. Hence, there is a chance that it may cost you a little bit of money, but it’s worth it in the long run!
Custom branded shipping labels:
Besides custom branded shipping labels, you can also add a touch of personalization to your shipping experience with custom branded shipping labels. Get your supplier to print up one of these on a label. And then print your own address labels on top of that! If done right, you can even have the tags look as if they were tailor-made just for the specific recipient, making the entire package more personalized. Again, this is another way to get a little brand awareness while also shipping your order in style!
Custom Shipping Bags:
If you’re shipping a large number of items at once, then why not consider having an option to buy branded shipping bags with your logo or brand printed on them? This can be a great way to show off your brand and hide all the other junk that typically comes with shipping! The various ways above are just a few of the many ways you can make your package really stand out. And can help you to get some brand recognition in the process. Remember though, the most important thing about shipping is actually getting your goods to their destination safely and securely.

Packing to Protect:
To make sure that your goods make it to their destination safely and securely. You must ensure that they package your product appropriately. The best way to do this is to use packing materials that are custom-designed specifically for shipping and then pack your item nicely in them!
If you’re wrapping up one of our subwoofers. Try thinking about how you can use all four sides of the box for something good. This will help substantially to reduce the risk of any damage to your subwoofer.
If you’re wrapping a box, you could use one side of the box to create a crumple that will then flatten out. Using the second side of the box is good for extra padding. And you should use yet another side for strapping down the subwoofer.
Final Thoughts:
Any of these ideas can prove to be quite useful in the long run. They don’t have to cost you a lot, but they could potentially get you a lot of business. Remember though not all solutions are the same. Some will work better than others, and some might be free (like custom-made stickers). Pick what works best for your business and be willing to invest in it!
